FROM THE PAST TIME THE HY­PHEN­A­TION PRO­CESS PEEPS IN LIKE THE FU­TURE OF THE WEB LOOK

Af­ter a three years job (and thir­ty­three of pro­gram­ming), the hy­phen­ator-Pro is open source now; I can­not han­dle it any more, but it is com­plete and ef­fi­cient enough to keep its prom­ise, al­though it needs to be test­ed. You can down­load it and use to beau­ti­fy your Web pag­es or oth­er doc­u­men­ta­tion of any kind. Who likes to com­plete or en­hance it with new func­tions can try that. The source is writ­ten in the pow­er­ful EUPHORIA Lan­guage, that can be au­to­mat­i­cal­ly con­vert­ed to C, if pre­ferred. This pro­gram was my first ex­pe­ri­ence with this new en­vi­ron­ment and more­o­ver it did grow on it­self, in that I couldn't ex­act­ly know all that could be need­ed to face the hy­phen­a­tion-men­tal pro­cess. There­fore the rou­tines are not al­ways best struc­tured and their dis­tri­bu­tion op­ti­mized; how­ev­er it is much com­pact, pow­er­ful and fast. It does a lot of fea­tures that nor­mal­ly re­quire ten times the size of 530Kb. Find out the details de­scrip­tions in the tutorial section. 1.8 MBytes (free download, no spy, no problems) This do­main was re­cent­ly trans­ferred-re­di­rected, but the cur­rent serv­er seems not to al­low the down­load ac­tion as it was programmed pre­vi­ously, based on some spe­cial setting for the page list­ing. Should you be re­al­ly in­ter­est­ed to the whole sources there­af­ter, per­haps for com­mer­cial rebuild and dis­tri­bu­tion that's not ex­clud­ed, please, let me know and I'll pro­vide for you the lat­est build with the com­plete ac­ces­so­ries! Al­though not trained into the Lan­guage, this site is writ­ten in Eng­lish by the help of an e-trans­la­tor, trea­ting the talk some­how like pro­gram­ming. Due to the cur­rent growth of the pro­ject it­self and its doc­u­men­ta­tion, it can not be op­ti­mized yet, so please be pa­tient, for­give the lacks of the au­thor and fo­cus the con­tent ;) Sug­ges­tions for any im­prove­ment or to ad­just mis­takes are wel­come.
